The "Capacity Building for Poverty Reduction Project", a joint project between the Ministry of Social Affairs and the United Nations Development Programme" is pleased to present the second issue of the series of statistical fact sheets.
These statistical fact sheets aim to highlight some indicators related to characteristics of households and residents at the national and governorates' levels in Lebanon. Data included in fact sheets are derived from the National Survey of Households Living Conditions (The Multipurpose Survey, 2004/2005). It should be noted that the multipurpose survey is a joint effort among the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Central Administration for Statistics and the United Nations Development Programme.
