A
positive correlation can be observed between low education indicators,
on the one hand, and the low level of educational attainment of the head
of the household, on the other.
Households falling below the threshold based on the education index
constitute 79.1 percent of households that are headed by an illiterate
person, and 60.5 percent of those whose head can only read and write.
The percentage drops to a mere 1.3 percent when the head of the
household is a university graduate. The same bias can be observed in the
case of households that have a woman as their head.
