Administrative Reform and Development (OMSAR)

The UNDP supported Administrative Reform programme aim to assist the Government of Lebanon and the Office of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform and Development (OMSAR) to programme and coordinate that country's National Administrative Rehabilitation Programme (NARP) both the short-term and medium to long-term. The projects contain specific objectives of the projects are:

To formulate and implement an Institutional Development Strategy

To efficiently manage and execute Technical Cooperation, including the execution of office technology, information technology, technical assistance, training and other components of the NARP, in support of the Institutional Development Strategy

To Develop a resource mobilization strategy to assist OMSAR in its public sector management reform efforts

To Coordinate external assistance and provide support to management of rehabilitation projects programmed under the National Administrative Reform Programme (NARP) financed by the World Bank, Arab Fund and European Union.
