Business with UNDP / UNDP Partners / Private Sector

The creation of new partnerships is a critical element in UNDP's vision to become a fully networked organization and a respected leader in development matters. With the private sector becoming an increasingly important factor in international development cooperation, a need has arisen in UNDP for the development of a comprehensive strategy for building partnerships with private entities, both in terms of substantive collaboration and funding relationships.

Private Sector partnerships are opening new challenges that have driven UNDP, both at the corporate and the local level, to prepare effective tools and guidelines. We are currently in the process of developing a broad policy in engaging strategically with the private sector.
