Men & Women in Lebanon: A Statistical Portrait 2000
 This report has been prepared within the context of the advancement of national statistical programmes classified according to the social type in Lebanon, and which is being implemented in collaboration between the National Committee for Women, the Central Administration for Statistics, the Ministry of Social Affairs, ESCWA, UNICEF, UNESCO, UNIFEM, UNDP and World Labor Organization.
The general purpose of this report is to highlight a number of important facts relating to the differences between men and women in the Lebanese society. It incorporates simplified statistical charts, illustrations and text aimed at analyzing these gender difference.
