The Library maintains a substantial collection of books, reports, periodicals, pamphlets, CD's and video cassettes on subjects of concern to the United Nations Development Programme, such as poverty and hunger, universal primary education, gender equality, governance, environmental sustainability, globalization and universal development. These materials are collected with the aim of achieving a balance of national and linguistic coverage, and to represent different points of view.
