Background
- Support a fully national executed programme with a focus on management capability and planning at both the strategic and operational levels.
- Development of a Lebanon end-state strategy, medium and long term and annual mine action plans that are more closely linked with, and in support of, the wider national rehabilitation, reconstruction and socio-economic development plan.
Achievements & Expected Results
-Production of a pioneer End-State Strategy for mine action in Lebanon, short term strategic plans and annual reports.
-Support to the Lebanon Mine Action Centre to undertake the complete spectrum of mine action operations through technical and management training and equipment support.
