Background
UNDSS is supporting security for humanitarian relief operations for the camp. This project is directly linked to the sectoral submissions presented by UNRWAand should be seen as an integral part of the response. Submission is separated only for the purposes of administration of the funds to be disbursed to UNDSS.
Achievements & Expected Results
The project's purpose is to meet the immediate security concerns for Humnitarian personnel who will operate in NBC, including the re-entry phase into NBC.
Proposed activities are to (1) Strengthen UNRWA's capacity to respond to the crisis under UN rules and regulations (2) Improve security coordination with other relief actors (3) Provision of technical security support of project activities
